General Area Weather Information

Weather in the Rockies is unpredictable. Even during the summer months, quick drops in temperature are possible.

To make sure you are prepared for weather at the resort, here is a general check-list of things to pack.

1. During Summer
   • The usual seasonal clothing appropriate for spring/summer, and also:
   • Jeans or other long pants.
   • Long-sleeve shirts.
   • Sweatshirts or a fleece.
   • A rain jacket or poncho for frequent afternoon thunderstorms.
2. Dining at the resort is "Mountain Casual" so it is not required to bring formal attire.

Currency information

The United States dollar (sign: $; code: USD; also abbreviated US$), also referred to as the American dollar, is the official currency of the United States of America. It is divided into 100 smaller units called cents or pennies.

Electrical Information

The electrical supply is 120 volts, 60Hz. Voltage converters will be needed at the resort if you bring a device that does not accept 120 Volts at 60 Hertz. Additionally, outlets will accept flat blade plugs. If your devices have different shaped plugs, you may also need to bring a plug adapter.
