Call for Nominations: Novus Distinguished Academic Training & Innovation Award
Digestive Physiology of Pigs-North America, in collaboration with Novus International, Inc., is delighted to announce the call for nominations for the **Novus Distinguished Academic Training & Innovation Award**. This prestigious award honors excellence in the teaching, training, and professional development of the next generation of scientists, educators, and innovators in the field of digestive physiology of pigs.

Award Amount: $7,500 USD

Award Presentation: May 20-23, 2025, at the 16th International Symposium on Digestive Physiology of Pigs
Eligibility
The award is open to educators from institutions of higher education who have made significant contributions to the academic and professional growth of undergraduate and/or graduate students in the field of digestive physiology of pigs. While eligibility for this award prioritizes individuals with expertise in the field of digestive physiology of pigs, those with exceptional contributions in related areas, such as swine animal nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, and nutrient metabolism, will also be considered.
Nomination Materials
Nominations should include:
- Letter of Nomination – a summary of the nominee’s contributions and qualifications.
- Résumé or Curriculum Vitae – limited to 5 pages.
- Statement of Teaching/Training Philosophy – a one-page description by the nominee.
- Letters of Support – up to 6 letters from colleagues, students, and/or administrators providing unique perspectives on the nominee's effectiveness in teaching and training.
